Deputy Mayor Charles Newton
Mr. Newton currently serves as Chairman of the Code Enforcement, Personnel/Administration and Taxes Departments. Charles is retired from GM with 30 years of service, and was a Union Shop Steward for 27 years for UAW Local 435. Mr. Newton was Honorably Discharged from the US Marine Corps and is a 20 year member of the Shiloh Baptist Church. Mr. Newton has also held the position of Vice President and President of the Teachers Union for the PG/CP School System. Charles has been married for 52 years, has 3 children and 2 grandchildren. |

Committeeman Ken Brown
Mr. Brown currently serves as Chairman of Public Works, Muncipal Court, Planning Board and the JIF Joint Insurance Fund. Ken is a Security Operations Manager at Allied Barton Security Services, and a Retired Master Sergeant of the US Air Force/National Guard with 20 years service. Mr. Brown is a member of St. Gabriel the Archangel Pastorial Council, as well as a volunteer at the Ronald McDonald House in Delaware. Ken has been married to Andrea for 42 years and has 2 children and 3 grandchildren. |

Committeeman Ken Dennis
Mr. Dennis currently serves as Chairman of Finance and the Industrial Commission. Ken also served on the Planning Board. Ken has previously served on the PG/CP Board of Education and the Carneys Point Derby Day Committee. He is a volunteer with Meals on Wheels and is a member of the Salem Legion Band. Mr. Dennis retired from the Penns Grove Post Office as a customer service supervisor. Mr. Dennis served in the US Army and is a decorated veteran of the Vietnam War. Ken is married to Alice and has 5 children, 7 grandchildren, and 1great-grandchild. |

Committeeman Wayne Pelura
Mr. Pelura previous served as Mayor of Carneys Point Township in 2008, 2010, 2011 & 2012. He currently chairs the Animal Control and Health & Safety Committee. Wayne also served on the Planning Board. He also served as a volunteer member of the Carneys Point Industrial Commission for 2 years, and as Chairman of the Recreation Commission from 1997 until he was elected to the Township Committee in 2008. Born and raised in Carneys Point, Wayne is married to Trisha and has 4 Children and 1 grandchild. |
